Stormwater Discharges from Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4)
Annual Report for period ending March 09, 2023. pdf
Kingsbury participates in a Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mandated program for Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4). The purpose of this program is to control the inflow of pollutants into the town's storm sewers and drainage ditches. Products such as oil, antifreeze, liter, animal wastes, fertilizer, pesticides and sediment for erosion can be washed into the storm drain system during rain storms or by melting snow. Eventually this untreated stormwater flows into our streams and lakes and can impact water quality.
